California Space AuthorityGoverned by a statewide board of directors, the California Space Authority (CSA) is a nonprofit corporation representing the commercial, civil, and national defense/homeland security interests of California's diverse space enterprise community in all four domains: industry, government, academia, and workforce. Designated as California's Spaceport Authority, CSA is a member-based "enterprise" association working closely with stakeholders statewide to facilitate California's competitiveness and space enterprise vitality. http://www.californiaspaceauthority.org
City of LompocLompoc Valley enjoys a healthy and diversified economy. Home to Vandenberg Air Force Base, which contributes $1.7 billion to the regional economy and is the largest employer in Santa Barbara County, Lompoc Valley is the powerhouse driving the county’s economy. The city used WIRED grant resources for an innovation asset inventory of local companies; federal research laboratories and federally funded research centers; federal military R&D laboratories and military installations; and research universities and specialized university-linked research institutions. The WIRED survey facilitates marketing for companies and other innovation organizations through a statewide database to get connection with their capabilities and what they can do for other businesses.http://ci.lompoc.ca.us/

Kern Economic Development CorporationKern EDC is a private nonprofit company dedicated to ensuring a diverse and strong economic climate for all businesses in Kern County. Kern EDC recruits new businesses to Kern County, helps established businesses with relocation and/or expansion efforts and works with local companies to provide economic data, workforce information and facilitation of the regulatory process.http://www.kedc.com/
Los Angeles Economic Development Corp. (LAEDC)The LAEDC is the Los Angeles region’s premier business leadership organization. It mission to attract, retain and grow business and jobs in the regions of Los Angeles County, as well as to identify trends and affect positive change for the local economy. The LAEDC also offers free Business Assistance services such as site selection, workforce resources, incentive packages, permits, licenses, zoning or local industry analyses for companies expanding or relocating in LA County. LAEDC regional managers work one-on-one with businesses throughout the regions of LA County Metro and South LA, San Fernando Valley, San Gabriel Valley, the Valleys of Santa Clarita, Antelope, South Bay, Westside and Gateway Cities.http://www.laedc.org/
Orange County Workforce Investment Board (OCWIB)In Partnership with the Orange County Board of Supervisors, the OCWIB oversees Orange County's workforce development activities and establishes programs in response to the workforce needs of Orange County. The OCWIB designs and implements programs and services for business, adults, youth and dislocated workers in accordance with its 5-year Strategic Local Plan. San Diego East County Economic Development CouncilThe San Diego East County Economic Development Council (ECEDC) is a full service economic development organization that has been supporting the eastern sub-region of San Diego County for the past 24 years.
